As school pupils across the region get ready to pick up their GCSE results the college will be ready to welcome them to enrol on courses ahead of the new academic year starting in September.

This means as soon as pupils have collected their GCSE results they will be able to go and enrol on a wide range of courses offered at the Peterlee campus, A-level courses at ED6 and construction and engineering based courses at The Technical Academy.

Enrolment on land-based courses at East Durham College’s newly redeveloped Houghall Campus, in Durham, will then take place between Thursday, September 1 and Saturday, September 3.

As well as students who have already applied for courses at East Durham College, student services staff will also be happy to welcome any new applications to courses across all sites throughout the period.

Carina Tomlinson, Assistant Principal for curriculum at East Durham College said: "This is an exciting time of the year both for school pupils getting set to receive their GCSE results and us here at East Durham College.
