Corinthia is its latest tenant and managing director James Croft said the firm specialises in “the conservation and repair of our built heritage; a finite resource that requires careful management and intervention.”

He added: “We have expertise in stone masonry, carving, lime pointing and other niche disciplines and traditional skills, and have worked on a number projects.”

Those projects include landmark structures such as grade-listed buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Mr Croft added: “We are expanding and the Old Brewery provides the perfect location for us.

“Not only because the former brewery is a high quality historic building with lots of character, but also because Castle Eden is in the perfect location for travelling to our various projects.”

Corinthia employs six stonemasons and also offers other services such as masonry reinforcement, concrete repairs and timber treatment.
