Arrest after police seize drugs in house raid

Cannabis and mobile phones were among items seized by Cleveland Police as officers executed a warrant on a property in the force area.

Officers from the Stockton Neighbourhood team carried out the action at a property on Marsh House Avenue, Billingham, on Thursday, June 18.

The force confirmed on social media that cannabis and other items believed to be used for drugs activity were recovered from the address.

A statement also said that a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs, malicious communications and other offences.

He has since been released under investigation, pending further inquiries by police.
