Arrest made after man suffers head injury following 'disturbance' at Hartlepool address

An investigation has been launched after police were called to a ‘disturbance’ at an address in Hartlepool.

Police were called to Harrow Street in the town at around 9.50pm on Thursday, May 21, where officers arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm. The man remains in police custody.

Another man aged 34 reportedly suffered a minor injury to his head.

Cleveland Police inquiries are now ongoing into the incident.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to a report of a disturbance at an address on Harrow Street in Hartlepool last night, Thursday, May 21, at around 9.50pm.

“Officers attended the scene and a man aged 41 was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.

“He remains in custody.

“A man aged 34 had reportedly suffered a minor injury to his head.
