Assaulting a police officer, possessing an air rifle and motoring offences: The latest cases before magistrates

Michael Patrick Hart, 35, of Ivy Grove, Hartlepool, admitted having an air rifle. He was given a six-month community order with six weeks of curfew. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £90 surcharge.

Samantha Lloyd, 26, of Brendon Crescent, Billingham, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, without insurance and without a licence. She was fined £323 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £32. She was also given six penalty points.

Christopher Mayes, 18, of Lindon Grove, Hartlepool, was fined £135 after admitting driving without insurance. He was given six penalty points and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge.

Harry Michael Frank Thompson, 19, of Murton Hall Farm, Wingate, was fined £120 after he pleaded guilty to speeding. He was banned from driving for 56 days and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge.

Robert James Lee Hall, 47, of Ellison Street, Hartlepool, was given a 12-month conditional discharge after he admitted stealing toiletries from Boots. He was ordered to pay £113 in compensation.

Christopher James Jones, 33, of Dawson House, Billingham, pleaded guilty to harassment and three charges of theft from shops. He was given a 12-month community order with an eight-week curfew. He was ordered to pay £64 compensation and £85 costs.

Terrence Charles Thompson, 50, of Kendal Road, Hartlepool, was fined £660, after it was proven in absence that he drove without insurance and without a licence. He was banned from driving for six months and told to pay £85 costs and a surcharge of £66.

Chloe Harrison, 21, of Cumberland Crescent, Billingham, admitted a charge of criminal damage. She was given a 12-month community order with 50 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £500 compensation, £85 costs and a £90 surcharge.

Lewis Clark, 21, of Sandown Road, Billingham, was given a 28-day curfew after he admitted a charge of criminal damage. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.

Mark Anthony Adams, 34, of Hart Lane, Hartlepool, pleaded guilty to two charges of assaulting a police officer. He was given a 12-month community order with 80 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £200 in compensation and £85 costs.
