Brick hurled at car used to help vulnerable people

A brick was hurled through the window of a car used to make deliveries to vulnerable people.

It was thrown at a black Nissan Juke parked outside a property in Low Grange Avenue, Billingham, between 11pm on Tuesday, May 12, and Wednesday, May 13.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said the vehicle is used to make deliveries to vulnerable people and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them so they can identify the culpits.

They are particularly hoping that someone in the area may have private CCTV footage which may have recorded the incident or someone approaching the crime scene.

They have urged anyone with potential clues about the people responsible to contact the force on 101, quoting incident number 076586.
