Michael O'Keefe, 35, of Hartlepool's Longscar Walk, was due to stand trial on April 13 2020 after pleading not guilty to possession of an iron bar as an offensive weapon.

However, Teesside Crown Court was told the prosecution would not be offering any evidence and Mr Recorder Darren Preston entered a not guilty verdict and cancelled the proceedings.
