Now, nine years on, the charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information given exclusively to the charity that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the disappearance of Scott Fletcher.
Ruth McNee, Crimestoppers regional manager for the North East, said: “Scott’s family are desperate to know his whereabouts and what happened to him.

Hide Ad“It’s nine years now since he disappeared. They’ve suffered enough without having any answers.
“As a charity that helps people speak up about what they know whilst guaranteeing complete anonymity, we’re urging anyone with information about Scott to contact us.
“Someone, indeed a number of people, may be aware of the circumstances and yet, to date, have stayed silent.
“No family should have to be kept in the dark or unable to find some form of closure when a loved one has disappeared in such circumstances.”

Hide AdFor more than 32 years, Crimestoppers has been taking information about crime anonymously, helping to bring justice to families, protect vulnerable children and adults and stop crime.
The charity is aware that for some people, speaking directly to the police or authorities is not an option or they are reluctant to do so for a number of reasons.
