Reynolds was made the subject of the restraining order last September following his conviction for harassing a Durham County Councillor who had objected to a planning application by him.

It is understood the alleged breaches relate to comments which he is said to have posted on Facebook.

He denies the allegations and the judge fixed the trial for March 8 next year at Durham Crown Court.

Judge Singh told Reynold’s of Monument Court, Durham: “As you know the offences that you are facing are serious and they do carry a custodial sentence.”
