Teesside Magistrates’ Court labelled the offence “serious” because it was committed while he was serving a suspended sentence for attacking the same victim.
The court also triggered the initial four-week suspended sentence as well as adding a further four weeks in custody after re-sentencing him for two assaults on another woman in Hartlepool on April 9 and 10, 2019.
In addition, Dixon received concurrent jail terms, meaning they will be served as part of the overall 20-week sentence, for the making threats charge and after he was re-sentenced for three other previous offences.
