Hide AdWright-King admitted another count of the same offence relating to a different child between August 24 and September 21 and also to attempting to meet with this child following sexual grooming.
The case was adjourned before sentencing so a probation report can be prepared although a prison sentence is likely.
Judge Chris Smith said: “Clearly here when one looks at the guidelines it’s going to be assisting the court in the length of sentence rather than the type.”
But he told Wright-King, of Straker Street, Hartlepool, he would get a “considerable discount” for pleading guilty.
He will be sentenced next month.
