Hartlepool man due in court after police incident in Headland street

A 32-year-old man has been charged with affray, assault on an emergency worker and threats to kill following an incident in Hartlepool.

Around 10 Cleveland Police vehicles were called to Northgate, on the Headland, Hartlepool, late on Saturday, April 25 in response to an emergency incident.

The force confirmed to the Mail on Monday, April 27 that a 32-year-old man, who lives in the town, will appear before magistrates in Teesside after being arrested and charged.

The hearing will take place on Monday.
