Hartlepool man facing 12 court charges after 'protracted and complex investigation'

A man is facing 12 court charges following what police have described as a “protracted and complex investigation”.

The 54-year-old Hartlepool man is due to appear later this week at Teesside Magistrates’ Court, in Middlesbrough, for the first time in connection with the cases.

The charges include criminal damage and witness intimidation.

A statement from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team this week read: “A 54-year-old Hartlepool man has been charged with 12 offences including criminal damage and witness intimidation.

“This is as a result of a protracted and complex investigation by Hartlepool Neighbourhood Policing Team into alleged offences within the Cleveland and Northumbria Police force areas.

“The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 23”.
