Jeffrey Dylan Mincher, 29, of Richmond Street, Hartlepool, was placed on a community order in December after he was convicted of two charges of unlawfully possessing the blades at the town’s Middleton Grange Shopping Centre on December 16.

Yet, after admitting one count of breaching the order’s requirements by failing to attend induction appointments in both December and January, he was jailed for 34 weeks at Teesside Magistrates’ Court after he was re-sentenced for a series of earlier offences.
