Hartlepool man to stand trial over alleged stabbing of teen after football match
Eighteen-year-old Declan Kelly pleaded not guilty at Teesside Crown Court to a charge of unlawful wounding against a 16-year-old boy on Friday, February 14.
The alleged incident is said to have happened near the Sports Domes at Seaton Carew which has a number of indoor artificial football pitches.

Hide AdCourt prosecutor Nigel Soppitt said: “The facts very briefly are there’s an allegation that this defendant has stabbed another young man after a football match.”
A trial, expected to take between two and three days, has been set for July 20 next year.
Kelly, of Freemantle Grove, Hartlepool, was granted unconditional bail.
The judge, Recorder Preston, said: “You have pleaded not guilty to unlawful wounding. You will therefore have to face a trial.
