Hunt for knife pair after two teenagers are threatened in Hartlepool

Police are appealing for help in tracing two suspects after teenage boys were threatened with a knife.

They have issued descriptions of the pair whey wish to quiz following the incident near Hartlepool’s Burn Valley Gardens.

A Cleveland Police statement read: “Police are appealing for information after two males aged 14 and 16 were threatened by two males with a knife on Elwick Road in the Burn Valley Park area of Hartlepool.

“The incident occurred yesterday, Thursday, April 22, at 8,30pm.

“One of the males was 6 ft tall of slim build with ginger hair and he was wearing a black tracksuit and a grey gilet.

“The second male was 5 ft 9in tall, of stocky build with short dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a grey Nike hoody.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting 063924.
