Two people have been arrested after reports of a fight in Hartlepool.

A number of police vehicles were called to Hartlepool Marina last night.

One witness reported seeing a man in the back of a van.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson confirmed two arrests had been made.

"We were called to a report of two people fighting on Mariners Point at 6.40pm last night, Tuesday 30th September,” she said.

“A male aged 19 and a woman aged 38 were arrested on suspicion of affray and released with bail conditions.”
