Man charged with attacking emergency workers after alleged burglary at Hartlepool pub

A Hartlepool man has been charged with a series of offences including assaulting an emergency worker following an alleged burglary at a town pub.

John David Gray, 26, of Tower Street, has been charged with criminal damage, actual bodily harm against an emergency worker, common assault of an emergency worker and burglary.

He was charged following a reported burglary at The Royal pub in Church Street, on Tuesday, March 31.

Gray is due in court on April 2.
