Man due in court over attempted robbery of Hartlepool shop

A man is due in court today to face an allegation of attempted robbery on a convenience shop in Hartlepool.

It follows an incident where officers from Cleveland Police were called to a report of an attempted robbery at Bungalow Convenience Store, in Stratford Road, at around 6.30am yesterday, Friday, October 2.

Hartlepool Neighbourhood Policing Team has confirmed a 26-year-old man will go before magistrates today, Saturday, October 3, following his arrest in connection with inquiries.
