Man facing five charges after reported Hartlepool burglary

A man is facing five charges following an alleged burglary.

The 40-year-old Hartlepool man is due to appear before Teesside Magistrates’ Court, in Middlesbrough, following reports of an incident at a property on the Headland on Sunday, September 20.

He was arrested by Hartlepool CID and has been charged with the burglary of a dwelling, two counts of causing harassment and two counts of committing fraud by false representation.

The defendant is expected to appear before magistrates on Wednesday, September 23.
