Michael Phillips murder: Live updates as Lee Darby gets LIFE, Neil Elliott 15 YEARS and Anthony Small 12 YEARS

Three Hartlepool men found guilty of killing Michael Phillips will be sentence on Thursday, March 5.

Lee Darby, 32, of Ridley Court, was convicted of Mr Phillips’ murder on Tuesday, March 3. Neil Elliott, 44, of Briarfields Close and Anthony Small, 40, of Rydal Street were cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter at the same trial.

On Wednesday, March 4, the court heard submissions from the prosecution and defence and Honourable Mr Justice Jacobs told the court he would consider the sentences overnight. The sentencing is due to resume at 10.30am in Teesside Crown Court. Scroll down for updates.
