Missing man Lee Burdon last seen in Hartlepool has been found, police confirm

Lee was last seen at around 6pm on Tuesday, August 20 in Hartlepool.

Police had been searching for Lee in the town and at around 10am on Wednesday, August 21, they confirmed that he had been found.

They were urgently appealing to trace the 44-year-old who was last seen in the Hartlepool area.

Cleveland Police have thanked the public for their help.

Police released a description of Lee. He is said to be a white male, 5 ft 11”tall, with a tanned complexion and short black hair. He was last seen wearing black clothing in Hartlepool.

Members of the public who may have seen Lee or had any information as to his whereabouts were urged to contact Cleveland Police as soon as possible.

Within hours of releasing their urgent appeal to the public, he was found safe and well.
