New police plea after Hartlepool car showroom raid

Police investigating the theft of a number of high value cars from a dealership in Hartlepool are appealing for information on another car stolen during the same raid.

Officers are asking who has seen a silver/grey Peugeot 508, registration SC66 PXL, to contact them.

A VW Touareg taken at the time has since been recovered in the Northumbria Police area.

Eight other vehicles stolen have been located, leaving just the Peugeot and a black Mercedes E220 registration, KS67 JVH, to be found.

Detective Constable Holly Angus said at the time: “This is a report of a significant theft of vehicles worth thousands of pounds.”
