Officers raid Peterlee property in connection with crack cocaine and heroin supply

The officers from Peterlee Neighbourhood team and intelligence department came together earlier on Friday morning (February 5) to execute a Magistrates warrant at an address in Lancaster Hill.
The raid took place following intelligence which suggested crack cocaine and heroin were being supplied to the town and Durham Constabulary has confirmed an investigation is now ongoing.

Hide AdSergeant Dave Watson, who led this morning’s warrant, said: “We want to send a strong message to those within our communities that dealing drugs will not be tolerated and we will take action.
"We will always act on the intelligence provided and we encourage those with information to contact us”.
