People and dog forced to jump out of the way as quad bike and car run amok

The search is on to find a group of men who used a quad bike to drive at people on a Hartlepool street.

Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team is looking for the gang, who used the vehicle on Vickers Lane, while a car then became involved in the same incident on Tuesday, March 2.

A spokesperson for the team said the men were riding in an antisocial manner “around vehicles parked in the street and driving towards members of the public, whom they forced to jump out of the road, whilst walking their dog.”

They added: "They were also joined by a Vauxhall Corsa, which was mounting the pavements and also been driven antisocially.

"Inquiries led to the driver of the Vauxhall Corsa receiving a Section 59 warning for driving in an antisocial manner.

“Inquiries are ongoing to locate the other males involved and the location of the quad bike."
