Pictures show scale of cannabis farm police uncovered at Hartlepool house

On Wednesday, February 10, officers from Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team, working as part of the town’s community safety team, discovered a cannabis farm at an address in Derwent Street.

Sharing the details on social media, Cleveland Police are now calling for anyone who may have concerns or intelligence to come forward and speak to the force.

Officers, who attended the scene of the cannabis farm in Hartlepool, found the electricity was bypassed and was presenting a danger to other local residents.

A Cleveland Police spokesman said: "We will always act on the concerns of our local community, I urge anyone with any information to contact Cleveland Police on 101 or alternatively on Crimstoppers on 0800555111.

Photographs taken at the scene, and shared on Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team’s Facebook page, show one room was filled with cannabis plants.
