Police appeal to unite stolen items with their rightful owners after a man was arrested on suspicion of theft in Hartlepool

Cleveland Police are attempting to locate the rightful owners of a number of stolen items after a man was arrested on suspicion of a number of thefts in Hartlepool.

Among the items that police want to reunite with owners are a mountain bike, various tools, a pair of Lacoste sunglasses, a Hitachi drill and a Dirty Dancing CD.

Police investigating the alleged thefts believe that the incidents occurred in the town overnight on Thursday, March 11 and into Friday, March 12.

Officers say that the items were recovered when a man was arrested on suspicion of a number of thefts in Hartlepool earlier today (Friday, March 12).
