Police arrest wanted man after public appeal to find him

Cleveland Police has appealed to the public for help to locate a 32-year-old man who was wanted in connection with a number of offences.

The force has now confirmed that the man has been arrested in Newcastle.

He was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and two counts of assault.

Two other men, aged 27 and 56, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
