Police close case after teenage boy stabbed near Hartlepool train station
The teenager suffered a stab wound at the Transport Interchange off Church Square next to the station at around 5pm on Wednesday, February 19.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested soon afterwards on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent (section 18 wounding).

Hide AdBut Cleveland Police have confirmed that he was later released without charge and the investigation is now closed.
The victim was taken to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough for treatment to the wound which was not said to be life threatening.
Cleveland Police sent a large presence to the incident which took place during half term when there had been reports of youths causing problems around The Lanyard and Marina Way area.
A large group of youths reportedly made off from the scene.
Officers appealed at the time for anyone with information or had footage of the incident to contact them.
