Police search for two people after teenager assaulted in Hartlepool on Holy Saturday

Members of the public have been asked to come forward after a teenager was assaulted in Hartlepool on Holy Saturday (April 3).

Cleveland Police are appealing for two members of the public to assist in their investigation of an assault in Hartlepool.

Officers were called to a report of an assault on Powlett Road on Saturday, April 3, at around 2:30pm.

It was reported that a male aged 19 was approached by a grey Nissan Juke with a female driver.

Police have said that a male then exited the vehicle and punched the victim in the face causing him to fall to the floor.

At the time of the incident it is believed two people assisted the victim and officers are appealing for them to come forward as they may be able to assist officers with enquiries.
