Police seize 190 cannabis plants in Hartlepool drugs bust

Police called to reports of an insecure property found nearly 200 cannabis plants inside.

The discovery was at an address in Lowthian Road, Hartlepool, on Monday, May 18.

A Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police statement read: “On arrival and checking the property, a cannabis farm was located. 190 plants were disposed of by officers.

“If members of the public have any suspicions of cannabis farms setting up in their locality then please do not hesitate to ring 101.”

Cleveland Police later said no arrests were made.
