Police seize cannabis worth more than £100,000 in raid

Cannabis plants with a street value of more than £100,000 have been seized in a raid by Cleveland Police.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Around £130,000 of reported cannabis was seized from a property on Gainford Road in Billingham yesterday, Sunday, February 21, by Stockton Neighbourhood Officers.

“A man aged 30 has been charged with producing class B drugs and will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Monday 22nd February.
