Police smash open door of Hartlepool house in drugs search

Members of the town’s Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a drugs warrant at an address in Oxford Road at 8.40am on Thursday, July 2.

Clveland Police released a short video of officers using a handheld battering ram to break down the frojnt door of the house before three of them entered the property.

The force said the warrant was in response to intelligence and community concerns about potential drugs activity in the area.

No arrests have been made at the time. Enquiries continue.

Acting Sergeant Rodgers said: “We executed today’s warrant in response to intelligence and local information.

“I urge anyone concerned about suspected drugs activity to report it by calling 101.”
