Search for man in 'ripped denim jeans' who committed indecent act in Hartlepool park

A 40-year-old man is being sought by police officers in Hartlepool after a “lewd” act was committed in one of the town’s parks.

The incident happened in Ward Jackson Park.

Officers received a report that a man, thought to be aged around 40 years old, was seen committing an indecent act at around 5.30pm on Sunday, March 1.

This is thought to have happened in the woodland play area at Ward Jackson Park, according to reports.

A Cleveland Police appeal said the man is described as a white, aged around 40, and wearing ripped denim jeans at the time of the alleged offence.

Anyone who may have information regarding the identity of the man is asked to contact PC Jim Blackwell on the Cleveland Police non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 035705.
