Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police officers firstly executed drugs warrants at five properties across Hartlepool on Wednesday.

Around £5,000 worth of cash, class B drugs and drugs paraphernalia, including around 20 mobile phones believed to be used for drugs activity, were seized.

Six males aged between 20s and 40s were arrested on suspicion of drugs and proceeds or crime offences and later released pending further inquiries.

A 48-year-old man is also in custody after suspected Class A, B and C drugs were found when neighbourhood police officers searched an address in the town’s Stephen Street on Friday.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A, Class B and Class C drugs.
