Teenager due in court after boy stabbed in Hartlepool

A teenager is due in court after a boy was stabbed outside a sports complex.

The 16-year-old boy needed medical treatment after he was injured outside The Sports Domes, in Seaton Carew, on Friday, February 14, at around 5.30pm.

Cleveland Police said at the time that his injuries were not life threatening.

The force have now revealed that an 18-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and is due to appear before Teesside Magistrates’ Court, in Middlesbrough, in August.
