Theft, assault, drink driving and other recent Hartlepool court cases

The following cases from the Hartlepool area were dealt with recently at Teesside Magistrates’ Court:

Christopher Young, 46, of Trinity Street, Hartlepool, received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £25 compensation, a £22 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting causing criminal damage to a window pane on April 22.

Kenny Brown, 29, of Hart Crescent, Blackhall, was banned from driving for 40 months and ordered to pay an £120 fine, £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting drink driving in Hartlepool on April 24.

Peter Stead, 38, of Exmoor Grove, Hartlepool, received a six-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting stealing a pressure washer from Aldi on April 14.

Kirsty Henderson, 29, of Tower Street, Hartlepool, was placed on a community order after admitting stealing £230 of clothing from JD Sports on April 26.

Callum Roberts, 22, of Alness Grove, Hartlepool, was ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order and to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £100 costs after admitting assault on July 31.

Nathan Malone, 26, of Mullroy Road, Hartlepool, was banned from driving for a year for 12 months and ordered to pay a £450 fine, £95 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting drug driving on December 7.

Artur Mitura, 43, of Grange Road, Hartlepool, was ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order and to pay £150 compensation and £85 costs after admitting assault on October 20.
