Suspected cannabis, drugs paraphernalia and cash were recovered after Cleveland Police officers searched the vehicle on Sunday, November 17, at 9.30pm.

Officers searched the vehicle in the town after smelling cannabis whilst speaking to the occupants, and recovered a quantity of suspected cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

Hundreds of pounds in cash was also seized.

The recovery led police to search an address on Lightfoot Crescent, Hartlepool, where further suspected cannabis was recovered.

Three women, aged 19, 19 and 20 years old, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs following the search, but have now been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
