Two Hartlepool men charged with burglary after being stopped by police

The men – who are aged 25 and 26 – were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday, July 1 by officers who were on patrol in Hartlepool.

Cleveland Police said in a statement that the men – who are both from the Hartlepool area – were said to be in possession of garden equipment and tools which they were unable to give an account for.

They will appear in court in August.
