Two men arrested as part of major Hartlepool sex attacks inquiry

Cleveland Police said a 25-year-old man was detained on suspicion of rape and a 45-year-old man on suspicion of attempted rape and sexual assault “following a three-month investigation reportedly involving a number of adult female victims”.
A statement added: “Searches are currently taking place at a commercial premises on York Road, in Hartlepool, as part of the investigation.
