Warning to public after 'potentially dangerous' medication lost in or around hospital

Cleveland Police is warning the public about a lost bag containing “potentially dangerous” medication.

In an appeal issued on Friday, March 6 the force said a grey handbag was misplaced in or around James Cook University Hospital the previous day.

It contained potassium supplements, fentanyl lozengers, orimorph (morphine), levomepromazine, cyclizine and dexasone.

The force has asked anyone who finds the bag to hand it in to their nearest pharmacy or police station, as the medication could be dangerous if it is not prescribed.
