Witness appeal after alleged attempted robbery in Hartlepool left woman with injuries
Officers received a report that a 39-year-old woman had suffered injuries during an alleged attempted robbery at around 4.30pm on Monday, May 31.
It happened on Easington Road near the One Stop shop, and a man was reportedly in possession of a crowbar and asp.

Hide AdA member of the public in a white vehicle is believed to have stopped to intervene.
Police have said that the victim suffered minor injuries and did not receive medical treatment.
A 40-year-old man has been charged with attempted robbery and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and he will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Wednesday, June 2.
