A woman has been arrested after police seized suspected class A drugs from a Hartlepool property.

Officers carried out a drugs warrant in the town’s Duke Street on Friday, May 14, as part of an ongoing operation against suspected organised crime across the Cleveland force area.

A small quantity of suspected class A drugs was seized in the operation a woman was arrested.

In a statement, Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team said: “A drugs warrant was executed by Hartlepool Neighbourhood Officers on Duke Street on Friday 14th May as part of Operation Endeavour, a month-long force-wide operation to tackle serious and organised crime.

“A small quantity of suspected class A drugs were seized and an adult female was arrested on warrant.
