Woman charged with assaulting emergency worker after incident at Hartlepool pub

A 43-year-old woman is due to appear before magistrates in Teesside following an incident at a Hartlepool pub.

Cleveland Police confirmed a woman has been charged with assault by beating and common assault of an emergency worker.

The charges come following an incident at the Park Inn, in Hartlepool’s Park Road, on Friday October 9.

It is alleged that a further incident took place at Middlesbrough Police Station on the same night.

A force statement said the woman is due in court on Monday, October 12.
