Woman injured during early morning Hartlepool street robbery

Cleveland Police said in a statement: “ Officers attended a report of a woman who reported her bag being taken from her forcefully, causing injuries to her wrist, at around 3.15am on Saturday, July 17.
“The female victim reported that she was on Murray Street, in Hartlepool, near to the junction of Young Street, when she was approached by an unknown man.

Hide AdThe man was described as white, wearing a green hooded top, with the hood up, pale coloured bottoms and white trainers.
"He is thought to be around 5 feet 11 inches, with a thin build.
“The victim reports that her designer beige shoulder bag, with the logo YSL in gold and a gold chain, was taken with force and the man made off with it in the direction of Young Street and then on to Straker Street.
“Anyone with any information or footage which may assist detectives is asked to call 101 and ask for DC Morland at Hartlepool CID, reference 118192.”
