Woman taken into police custody after drugs raid at Hartlepool house

Hartlepoool Neighbourhood Policing Team recovered Class A drugs at a house in the town’s Derby Street at 9.40am today (Thursday, July 16) as part of Operation Phoenix.

Operation Phoenix aims to improve public service, prioritise vulnerability, tackle violence and prevent crime.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and inquiries are ongoing.

Anyone concerned about suspected drugs activity is asked to call police on 101.
