Driver escapes injury after being pulled out of overturned car following two-vehicle smash on Hartlepool road

A driver was pulled free of their car after it overturned in a smash on a Hartlepool road.

Cleveland Police were called to Catcote Road, close to its junction with Dalkeith Road, at 7.40pm yesterday, Monday, February 8, following reports of a collision.

When officers arrived, they found it involved a black Ford Fiesta and a blue Suzuki.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “One of the vehicles ended up on its roof and the driver was pulled out from the vehicle uninjured.

“No injuries have been reported.”
