Drivers injured after two car collision

A woman was left with an injured leg and suffering chest pains after her car was involved in a collision with another vehicle.

The crash happened on Raby Road, Hartlepool, at 12.15pm today.

In addition to the injuries sustained by the woman, the other driver also suffered from chest pains.

One lane was blocked while the scene, near to the Odeon building, was cleared.

The incident involved a Fiat 500 and a Mitsubishi Shogun.

Police were called to the scene, but officers said the drivers had exchanged details.
