Ellis Harrison: Seven things you need to know about Hartlepool United's new signing

Ronnie Moore has bolstered his Hartlepool United side with the addition of pacy Bristol Rovers forward Ellis Harrison on a month's loan.

Here's everything you need to know about the new signing:

- The Bristol Rovers striker can play up front or on the wing but ideally likes to operate as a centre forward

- Harrison has played as high as League One, making his debut as a late substitute in a 1­-0 defeat to now Premier League side Southampton.

- The player qualifies for Wales, having grown up in Newport and has been capped nine times scoring twice for the Under-21 side.

- This is the Welshman's first spell away from the Memorial stadium

- Renonwned for his pace and trickery, Harrison caught the eye in the Conference last season netting 17 goals in all competitions including the equaliser in the Play-Off final which Rovers then won on penalties.

- This season has seen the forward struggle for game time at the League Two high flyers but has still managed to find the net 6 times in 24 appearances.

- The 21-year-old left a parting gift for parent club Bristol Rovers at the weekend, netting a late penalty to secure his side a 2­-1 victory
