Emergency services called to Hartlepool Marina after a child impaled their arm on a fence

Emergency services were called to Fleet Avenue in the Hartlepool Marina area of the town shortly after 5pm on Friday, June 4, after a child had impaled their arm on some railings.
One fire crew from Hartlepool attended the scene and released the child, who was then handed over to paramedics from the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS).

Hide AdIt was then reported that the casualty was taken to hospital via the Great North Air Ambulance and their condition remains unknown at this time.
A Cleveland Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “One child impaled by arm on railings. Child released by Fire Brigade and handed over to the North East Ambulance Service. Taken to hospital by air ambulance.”
